Privacy policy
We collect as little about you as we can, which is on brand. Here's exactly what we keep, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
This shop is run by ART Digital Media Limited, trading as CTRLALTDEL, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15238913), registered office Suite #265, 4 Blenheim Court, Peppercorn Close, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE1 2DU. We are the “data controller” for the personal information described here. Contact us about anything in this policy at hello@ctrlaltdel.life.
What we collect and why

Card details: we never see or store your card number. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe on its own secure checkout page.
Who we share it with
We only share what each company needs to do its job, and they may only use it for that job:
- Stripe: takes your payment and sends your receipt. Stripe's privacy policy.
- Printful: our print partner, which prints your order and passes your delivery details to the courier. Printful's privacy policy.
- Delivery couriers chosen by Printful: to get the parcel to you.
- Hostinger: hosts the server this website and its order records run on.
Some of these companies may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use legal safeguards approved under UK law (such as the UK's international data transfer agreements). We never sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing.
How long we keep it
- Orders: order and payment records are kept for six years after the end of the tax year they relate to, because HMRC requires it.
- Mailing list: we keep your email address until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs: kept for a short period, normally no more than a few weeks.
Cookies and your basket
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and nothing tracks you around the web.
- Your basket is saved in your own browser (local storage), so it's still there if you come back. It stays on your device until you check out.
- One login cookie is used only by the shop owner to sign in to the admin area. Customers never receive it.
- Stripe's checkout page uses its own cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud, under Stripe's policy.
Because these are all strictly necessary for the shop to work, we don't need to ask before using them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete it, where we don't need to keep it (we must keep order records for the period above);
- restrict or object to how we use it;
- send it to you or another company in a usable format.
You can also unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time by emailing us. Email hello@ctrlaltdel.life for any of these; we'll reply within one month and there's no charge.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update it here and change the date below.
